Purpose Summit
Ticket Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change. To ensure the best experience for all attendees and to manage the significant costs associated with hosting the Purpose Summit, we have established the following policy regarding ticket cancellations, refunds, and transfers.
1. Cancellation Insurance (Highly Recommended)
We strongly encourage all ticket purchasers for the Purpose Summit to opt for the Cancellation Insurance offered during the checkout process. This third-party insurance provides the most comprehensive protection against unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending.

-
Benefit: If you purchased this insurance and need to cancel, you must file a claim directly with the insurance provider, who will manage your refund according to the terms of the insurance policy.
-
This insurance is the ONLY way to receive a refund within 90 days of the conference.
-
The Cancellation Insurance must be purchased at the time of original ticket checkout and cannot be added later.
2. Standard Cancellation & Refund Schedule
For ticket holders who did NOT purchase the Cancellation Insurance, refunds will be processed according to the following schedule, based on the date of the written cancellation request. If Cancellation Insurance was purchased, this refund schedule does not apply and claims must be made directly to the third-party insurance company.
Cancellation Request Date Refund/Credit Issued

Now through April 21, 2026 100% Refund (less $250 administrative fee)

From April 22, 2026 through July 20, 2026 50% Refund (less $250 admin fee)

August 19, 2026 or later NO REFUND

-
All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 days of the cancellation request.
3. Ticket Transfers (Alternative Option)
If you are unable to attend the Purpose Summit and do not qualify for a standard refund, we offer the option to transfer your ticket to another individual or to next year’s event:
A. Transfer to Another Individual
-
Tickets may be transferred to a colleague or another individual up to October 9, 2026. No transfers will be available after this date.
-
Administrative Fee: A $150 administrative fee applies to all ticket transfers to another name and must be paid within 5 business days of the request or the transfer will be null and void.
-
You must email a written request no later than 5 pm (ET) on October 9, 2026 with the new attendee's full name, title, and email address to hello@thepurposesummit.com
-

B. Transfer to a Future Conference
-
Tickets may be transferred to the following year's Purpose Summit up to July 20, 2026.
-
Administrative Fee: A $250 administrative fee applies to this transfer and must be paid at time of request.
-
Note: If the following year's ticket price is higher, you will be responsible for paying the difference in price at the time of the transfer. In all cases, no refunds will be given.
-
Transfers to a future conference are not permitted after July 20, 2026.
4. Force Majeure and Event Cancellation
Should the Purpose Summit be canceled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s reasonable control (e.g., natural disaster, war, government restrictions, pandemic-related venue limitations), attendees will be offered a full credit toward the rescheduled date or the following year’s event. Cash refunds will not be issued in force majeure scenarios.

5. How to Initiate a Cancellation or Transfer
All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing via email to hello@thepurposesummit.com and must include the following information:
-
Full name of the original ticket purchaser.
-
Order/Confirmation number.
-
Reason for cancellation (optional, but helpful).

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
A. Future Event Cancellation (Credit Transfers). If an attendee utilizes the option to transfer their ticket credit to the following year's the Purpose Summit, and the subsequent year's event is canceled entirely due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to force majeure events as defined in Section 4), the Purpose Summit shall not be obligated to provide a cash refund for the original ticket price. The transferred credit will be held and applied toward the next successfully held Purpose Summit or another comparable virtual offering, at the sole discretion of the organizers. By accepting a credit transfer, the attendee accepts this risk.
B. Third-Party Insurance Disputes. Purpose Summit only facilitates the offering of third-party Cancellation Insurance but is not the insurer and is not involved in the adjudication or settlement of any claims. In the event of any dispute, disagreement, or claim between the ticket holder and the third-party insurance provider regarding coverage, eligibility, or the issuance of a refund under the insurance policy, Purpose Summit will under no circumstances be responsible for or obligated to issue any refund or monetary compensation to the ticket holder. The ticket holder must resolve all such disputes directly with the third-party insurance provider.
C. General Liability Limitation. By purchasing a ticket, the attendee agrees that the maximum liability of the Purpose Summit for any claim, regardless of cause, shall be limited to the total ticket price paid by that attendee, excluding any fees paid for third-party services, such as the Cancellation Insurance.
